Giselle Cosentino has been a passionate nonprofit professional for more than twenty years working and volunteering for many not-for-profit organizations across the country. She earned a BS in Environmental Conservation Affairs with a minor in Rhetoric and Public Address from the University of New Hampshire and went on to battle fire ants and wrestle alligators as an educator in Florida. She then worked for Trinity College Elderhostel Programs in Italy (now known as Road Scholar) leading groups safely through Roman intersections while on a personal mission to find the perfect strawberry gelato. Giselle then attended Antioch University New England and earned a MS in Environmental Education where she found her love for working with underserved youth. She went on to work for the Brandywine Valley Association in West Chester, PA for nearly eight years where she became an advocate for and practitioner of realistic budgeting, creative and engaging curriculum and positive life-altering summer camp experiences. For the last two years she worked at Chester County Futures, a college access program for underrepresented youth. She is thrilled to be back to her camp roots at the Garrett Williamson Foundation. She is most looking forward to working with the dedicated and talented staff that is clearly committed to equal access to quality education and childcare. Giselle currently serves as a Council Member of the Borough of Modena. When she is not working or volunteering you can find her cooking up a pot of homemade tomato sauce or tubing down the Brandywine Creek, both of which she believes are best shared with friends and family.
Alex Morrison has been working with Camp Garrett since 2015. After graduating with a BS in Secondary Education from Temple University, she spent time writing for local Newtown Square publications and found–almost immediately–her calling in Garrett Williamson. Now, two years later, she enjoys her work with the Camp more than ever and dedicates herself to providing safe, educational and engaging programs to children of all ages. When she’s not busy with Camp (and trust me, there’s always a reason to be busy with Camp), Alex also works as Garrett Williamson’s Marketing Coordinator. On a typical weekend, you can find this self-proclaimed “future crazy cat woman” relaxing at home with her Norwegian Short Hair, Hermes, who’s 5th birthday is coming up in June!
