Primary Role: To further the mission of Garrett Williamson through the supervision and active care of campers. The Senior Counselor will be responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out all camp activities and will serve as a positive and strong role model for all campers and Junior Summer Camp Counselors.
Essential Job Functions:

Primary Role: To ensure the health and safety of campers and staff by providing first aid, managing medications and promoting wellness while furthering the mission of Garrett Williamson.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide care and First Aid to campers and staff in need, and respond to medical emergencies
- Oversee and maintain high standards of health and hygiene by educating campers and staff on importance of hygiene practices such as handwashing and personal care to prevent illness and promote overall well-being

Required Skills, Experience and Professional Development:
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- All education and experience requirements as outlined by the Department of Human Services and Keystone Stars
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to respond well to unusual or crisis situations
Other Job Duties:
- Flexible and able to work with any age group when necessary
- Attends monthly staff meetings and three yearly staff in-services
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- All other duties as assigned
