Field Trips

Through unique, immersive experiences, students will identify what plants & animals need to grow (4.4 PK), identify common plants & animals found in the PA agriculture system (4.4 K), describe the role of soil in agricultural systems (4.4 1.A), and identify agriculture as a living system and that food & fiber originate from plants & animals (4.4 2.A).

$385 for full-day field trips, $190 for half-day. At this time, we can only accommodate up to three classrooms (30 students per class) per trip but can schedule multiple trips each week.

Example schedule:

  • 9am – 9:30am: Arrival & transition
  • 9:30am – 12:30pm: Barn, Garden, Nature programs
  • 12:30pm – 1:15pm: (BYO) Lunch
  • 1:15pm – 2pm: Free play, activities
